A Day with Take
I am in bamboo
surrounded by
sitting with
aware and tranquil
in morning sunlight shade.
I am both listening and
sometimes talking to
my senses keen,
drunk with respect.
I walk silently,
tread carefully,
across chiseled stones
embedded in earth
rich with smell.
The bamboo grove forgiving
of young and old and ancient
who watch my every step.

I love this. So peaceful.
