Dead Stars Still Burn

RAIN…the freezing cold and lonely (un)kind. Gently now, sip the moonlight from the sky and breathe in frightened air. Windswept and…lilac scents swim casually by. A momentary warmth – and a feeling of care.

Cats are meowing jazz outside. Streetlights glowing red.

I am walking in wine – Burgundy lit – with a song drowning inside my head.

It can sometimes be too lonely in the middle of the world…when the universe is locked within your bedroom chamber. There was once upon a time ago when I danced among the stars – so far away that seems so now (but alliteration still makes me smile).

“Only remember that promise of never and never again. For however more hurt the sting – when you ask for it to bring.”
